There is a huge amount of action, trial & error, planning, discussion, and occasionally disagreements about priorities. But we are absolutely not ignoring you.

We are also looking for ways to communicate more about what is happening behind the scenes. Honestly, that's probably where folks like myself can contribute the most to EVE Online.

Since the internet came about, the concept and psychology of communication took a new turn. Often silence via forum communication is interpreted as indifference and that may be the problem here (aside from game issues).
You have a dedicated following of players and we feel we deserve something in return for our dedication. Namely, acknowledgment that you are aware of our feelings, wishes, frustrations and support. It's kind'a like a marriage.
Zin, your post/reply was very welcomed by the more stable and mature among us. I'm certain there are tensions behind the scenes as to what to focus on next. We know that.
But ultimately the customer pays your salary so we deserve some acknowledgment in return.
Keep talking to us...that is the key. Even if you cant address all our concerns come next expansion, just keep talking to us and let us know that you are aware of our frustrations.
This post asking for us to vote for EVE was like a slap in the face and showed us that you (CCP) are really out of touch with your customers. We found it both humorous and insulting. So some 50+ pages of replies later in this thread, we revolted.

The concept behind EVE is awesome. The implementation and maintenance sucks. And there is where we are stuck. We hope for light at the end of the tunnel, for the fulfillment of promises, so we stick around.
But if there had been another EVE-like MMO out there, I'd be out of here.

Overall, what do you think has been CCP's reaction to the responses in this thread?
Do you think they just blow it off as the trolling of immature players.

Perhaps take this very seriously and brainstorm methods to win back player confidence in CCP.

Unfortunately this just gives CCP more confidence to continue with business as usual.
EVE can be so much more, and I'm not even talking about add-ons. Just "quality of product" issues like bug fixes and feature enhancements.

Cant believe this thread hasn't been locked.

CCP will do what it wants. It doesn't care about player feedback...that's all a PR illusion.
